THE BENEFITS

Fun and Enjoyment

Our approach to youth training is to make it fun, engaging and inclusive, whether you’re ultra serious about sport or just want to get stronger and fitter.

Be Active for Life

The aim of our youth training programs is for young people of all ages to value the importance of physical activity and make it a part of your life.

Movement and Coordination

For young athletes, developing the ability to move with confidence and control is the key to high performance in any sporting field.

Strength and Flexibility

Developing strength, flexibility and balance are not only the keys to maximising performance, but they also help to reduce the risk of injury in younger bodies.

Go to the Next Level

For committed young athletes who want to progress and maximise your potential, we design specialist training programs to match your goals.

Assessment and Testing

We use testing and assessment as a means of highlighting to young and emerging athletes your progress, and how you are developing in key areas.

HOW IT WORKS

Assessment

To kick off, we undertake an assessment designed to identify your needs, strengths and weaknesses. Our aim is to discover what is stopping from delivering your best performances, and how to progress to the next level.

Analysis

Our team of accredited exercise professionals will analyse your specific needs to develop a personalised training program, designed to help you recover from injury, enhance your on-field performance, or improve overall fitness and health.

Instruction

Our personalised training programs are designed to help people of all levels and abilities to enhance speed, strength and endurance, with our experienced, qualified trainers providing instruction tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Feedback

All of our programs are designed to be flexible and responsive, with ongoing feedback about what you are doing and why. Training is individualised and responsive, helping you to maximise performance and hit your targets.

REVIEWS

I started working with Jazz at AAC after my 2022 season and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my performance. The coaching and support from Jazz has helped me improve physically and propelled my game to the next level.

Jack O’LoughlinTeam Australia Pitcher

I dreaded going to the gym. However, since starting at AAC, Jazz has provided me with a personalised training program to achieve my goals and has made me enjoy going to the gym each day. This is a big testament to his desire and work ethic to get the best out of each athlete. I have learnt so much and feel the fittest and strongest I have been in my playing career. I’m grateful for the AAC team and look forward to continue working with them throughout the baseball season. I would encourage any athlete to join!

Jordan McArdleAdelaide Giants Captain

AAC is different to “typical” gyms. Before starting here, my workouts didn’t have structure and I was plateauing in the gym. The Coaches at AAC designed a program that was specific to my sport which regularly updated as I developed and the on-site physiotherapists were able to address any injuries immediately so I didn’t lose out on any training.

How do you help young athletes achieve their goals?

At AAC, we believe that a one size fits all program does not exist. Our coaches design personalised, individual programs that help you get the most out of your training and reach your full athletic potential. In addition, our coaches have wide ranging experience in helping young athletes to develop a winning mindset and positive approach to training.

Do you only cater for elite young athletes?

We work with both high performance youngsters, as well as anyone who wants to be able to get stronger, run faster, or jump higher. Although AAC is a high performance centre, we offer an inclusive environment designed to help people at all levels to reach their goals.

What sports do you coach?

Our programs are designed to help young people improve their athletic capabilities in sports including but not limited to baseball, softball, footy, soccer, cricket, basketball and netball. Additionally, we cater to niche sports such as golf, fencing, dodgeball and multiple combat sports. Whatever your sport, we design the optimal program for you.

At what age can children begin youth training?

We have a wide variety of sporting and training programs designed for children aged 6 years and older.

Can we train together as a family group?

Given our unique facility, we have the ability to cater both parents and children to participate together in a range of sports and games — it’s a chaotic, yet controlled environment where the emphasis is on fun and engagement.

Do you provide training for youth sports teams?

Our programs can be tailored to meet the needs of an entire team to improve overall fitness and skill levels, and develop team spirit and camaraderie. This can be done during the pre season, in the sporting season, or once the season has ended.
