Baseball Programs

Whether you’re a high school athlete looking to go to college, a college athlete looking to sign your first professional contract, or a professional athlete looking to make the big leagues, we design the program tailored to your individual performance needs. Team Australia representatives, Adelaide Giants players and multiple MLB affiliated athletes rely on our programs to optimise their performance. And we can do the same for you.

Our baseball and softball youth high performance program comprises of gym-based, group strength & conditioning training, as well as pitching and throwing coaching. Specifically designed for athletes aged between 13 - 16 years who want to take on-field performance to the next level, the program aims to develop your speed and strength, and to help minimise your risk of injury.

We run a women's elite baseball program that is designed specifically for female players aged 13 years and over. We support you to develop key areas your game, including pitching, throwing, speed and strength training.

Our youth and women’s programs run for 12 weeks each season of the year (summer, autumn, winter and spring). Programs are developed around the specific training and playing demands required at the different times of the baseball season, as well as consideration of your individual requirements as an athlete.

Continuity is a central pillar of our dedicated throwing and pitching development programs, which is why our facility is equipped with an indoor netting system that allows you to throw regardless of the weather conditions outside. We also have a wide range of specialist strength & conditioning equipment specifically designed to enhance your throwing capacity.

For all our athletes, we offer physiotherapy, exercises physiology and rehab programs that support you from day 1 of an injury until you’re ready to get back on the field.

  • Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology

Having worked at various private gyms and sporting organisations early in his career, including Norwood FC of the SANFL, Miki knew athletes and coaches across Adelaide deserved better. Too long had optimal rehabilitation and S&C services only been accessible to athletes at the top level.

Miki started AAC in 2017 with the vision of creating an environment for athletes to the get the most out of their performance. What began as a small handful of aspiring athletes and coaches has turned into a not so little AAC community with athletes competing locally, nationally and across the globe. This is only just the beginning!

I started working with Jazz at AAC after my 2022 season and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my performance. The coaching and support from Jazz has helped me improve physically and propelled my game to the next level.

Jack O’LoughlinTeam Australia Pitcher

I dreaded going to the gym. However, since starting at AAC, Jazz has provided me with a personalised training program to achieve my goals and has made me enjoy going to the gym each day. This is a big testament to his desire and work ethic to get the best out of each athlete. I have learnt so much and feel the fittest and strongest I have been in my playing career. I’m grateful for the AAC team and look forward to continue working with them throughout the baseball season. I would encourage any athlete to join!

Jordan McArdleAdelaide Giants Captain

AAC is different to “typical” gyms. Before starting here, my workouts didn’t have structure and I was plateauing in the gym. The Coaches at AAC designed a program that was specific to my sport which regularly updated as I developed and the on-site physiotherapists were able to address any injuries immediately so I didn’t lose out on any training.
